 These X100 cartridges are made of 100% polypropylene micro-fiber. The base of each cartridge snaps into a precision groove in the housing which forms a positive seal to prevent bypass. Their graded density construction results in ultra fine material at the core which grows progressively coarser towards the outside edge. The outer layers capture larger particles, saving the inner layers for progressively smaller contaminants. This give the X100 cartridge its extremely high efficiency.
